The experienced judging panel included retailers – Robert Brigham (Managing Director, Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports) and Adrian Plumb (Senior Buyer, Tiso) – and active journalists – Chris Townsend (Gear Tester, TGO), Iain Duff (Editor, Camping), Alan James (Director, UKClimbing & UKHillwalking) and Graham Thompson (Gear Tester, Trail).
