Hurrah For National Trust’s Hillfort Heroes!
Dozens of National Trust volunteer rangers have spent three months unearthing an array of wildlife and rare archaeological finds at one of the most ancient sites in the UK. Glow worms, butterflies, rare bugs and birds are among the species identified at the stunning and historic sites across Dorset and Wiltshire since May.

Explore National Cycle Network Paths On OS Maps
Walking and cycling paths on the National Cycle Network will now be available on official Ordnance Survey (OS) mapping. The new partnership by Sustrans with mapping expert OS will help more people to discover and access the Network. The two organisations have joined forces to provide detailed, user-friendly and accurate information on the Network’s 16575 miles of traffic-free and quiet on-road cycling and walking routes spanning the whole of the UK.

High in your eyrie, the tent faces the rising sun and all is well with the world. Would that it was always so. Hard-won lessons mean that forward planning now has a fairly high priority.
