Club Displays Historic Photos Of Climbers And Campers
An exhibition is to go on display in England and Wales giving a unique look at a recently-rediscovered collection of historic photographs from the 1930s. The exhibition – ‘Climbing, Camping and the Club’ – features 35 black and white photographs taken by members of the Camping and Caravanning Club’s Mountaineering Section, as it was then known.

Hadrian’s Country: On & Off The Wall
Hadrian’s Wall Path is a dedicated trail for walkers stretching from Segedunum Roman Fort in Wallsend to Bowness-on-Solway, west of Carlisle. It opened officially in 2003, enabling visitors to walk the entire length of Hadrian’s Wall along an unbroken, signposted trail stretching from coast to coast. At 84 miles, the Path is ideal for a week-long holiday as well as highly attractive for day visitors.
